TravelManager working towards full data portability
April 16th, 2008 | by admin |We believe that your data is your data. Some companies in our industry (and many other industries) like you to keep your data locked up inside their software so you continue to use their products even if their products aren’t particularly good anymore.
We are focusing on ensuring that our software complies with open standards and data portability in particular. Not sure what I mean.
Here is a good video introduction to Data Portability.
So if you put data into TravelManager you can get it out in any format you want and put it into any other application you want. Now if only all software was built like that - it would make life so much simpler for small business owners to start to run their business
